24 October
On World Polio Day, thousands of Rotary clubs around the world will hold events and fundraisers to recognize our progress in the global fight to end polio. Our 2019 online global update will air in multiple time zones and languages, reaching more people and raising more awareness than ever before.

ROTARY DISTRICT 6820 POLIO PLUS 5K RUN/WALK SATURDAY, OCT.19 @ 8 A.M. / RENAISSANCE IN MADISON, MS
As long as a single child anywhere in the world remains infected with the poliovirus, ALL children are at risk of contracting this crippling and possibly deadly disease. For years Rotary has led the worldwide fight in eradicating polio from the face of the earth, but our campaign won’t be over until there are no diagnoses for a period of three years. Children worldwide need polio vaccinations to survive and thrive. Please lace up your running or walking shoes and help!
